Education

After high school in Zurich (Matura Type B including Latin) I studied Journalism and Media Research, German and some other subjects in the ivory tower of the University of Zurich. After quitting for practical work I qualified as a Public Relations Professional with eidg. Fachausweis (Swiss national certificate, third best grade of the year). Some years later I swotted web-publishing and web-programming at the evening school EB Wolfbach, later renamed EB Zürich.

Career

After some great years in a PR agency there was a disappointing job in a high-tech company followed by a transfer into advertising as a copywriter. Promotion via proofreader to consultant and member of the executive board. Mainly self-educated to the skills of a Corporate Photo Grafics PR Text Web Creative Proofreading Director – in other words acting as a one-man communications and web agency with integrated pre-press department – employed by a commercial firm entitled Head of Corporate Communications and equipped with two lovable comrades. Actually working for the full service web agency insign gmbh as a project manager.

Languages

(Swiss) German mother tongue; Danish orally fluent, written passive good; English might be better than French (Matura level); PHP OO-style not bad, (X)HTML, CSS and Javascript (was better some years ago), XML and SQL (basics); Perl not used during the last years; Klingon not at all.
